The PowerTech Group Names Roger Shanafelt Vice President of Sales and Business Development
KENT, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The PowerTech Group, a leading expert in automated computer security solutions for compliance and data privacy, today announced that it has named software industry veteran Roger Shanafelt as vice president of sales and business development.
Shanafelt reports to PowerTech’s president and CEO, Jon Scott, and is responsible for all aspects of sales in the Americas and Asia Pacific, including identifying and developing new business opportunities for this privately held enterprise security company.
In his new role, Shanafelt brings with him more than 20 years of experience in sales and marketing in the software and telecommunications industries with a track record of high-growth revenue and new business opportunity development for emerging companies. Prior to PowerTech, Shanafelt was vice president of sales and marketing for DocuSign Inc., an online electronic signature service company service for the real estate, mortgage and financial services markets, where he was responsible for all aspects of revenue generation for the company. Prior to DocuSign, Shanafelt served in a variety management and marketing positions for some of the leading technology companies in the region including Myrio – A Siemens Company, Loudcloud, Exodus Communications and Excite@Home Corporation.
