eGistics Appoints Veteran Executive To Help Drive Sales
Dallas, April 14, 2008 -
eGistics today announced that is has appointed Robert C. Stangl, a seasoned sales and operations executive, to serve as vice president of strategic accounts. Stangl will help drive eGistics' growth in hosted document management. He will report to Ed Pearce, eGistics' executive vice president, sales and corporate development.
"Robert Stangl has a long, tested record of managing and selling document management portfolios, driving improved profitability, and serving customers across vertical markets," said Pearce. "I look forward to the considerable talents that he brings to our team as we work to accelerate eGistics' growth and profitability in the hosted document management space."
Stangl brings to eGistics more than 20 years of bank operations, consulting, software, and outsourcing sales experience. He was most recently regional sales director, South Central Region, for Nextance, Inc., where he managed all phases of the sales process, as well as existing client relationships, for the provider of enterprise contract management software.
Previously, Stangl spent several years at the helm of his own company, engaged in raising venture capital to fund a software company that provided workflow and archive capabilities for intellectual property management. Stangl's company also was involved in the purchase of a technical manufacturing company, and provided sales consulting to small businesses.
Stangl also has served in executive positions at Electronic Data Systems (EDS), Anderson Consulting, Hogan Systems, and First City Bank of Dallas (now part of JPMorgan Chase).
